 Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests

and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.

From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

Matthew 26: 14-16

Prayer Starter

There were two disloyal characters, Judus went out to grab his money, betrayed Jesus, and then killed himself in despair. Peter, despite his protests, would deny his Lord, he faced his own appalling guilt, then wept bitterly. His failure was not the end of the mission, but the beginning…..Success is what I do with my failures.   “Here is my servant, whom I uphold,  my chosen one in whom I delight;
I will put my Spirit on him,   and he will bring justice to the nations.

He will not shout or cry out,    or raise his voice in the streets.

A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;

he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth.
In his teaching the islands will put their hope.”

Isaiah 42 1-4

Sermons will now be online

Saturday, June 12th, 2010

See the Listen Again section for the latest sermons.
